Building A Better Future Together – Horizen Joins Forces with Students For Liberty
Horizen and Students for Liberty team up to empower students to incite changes in social and digital freedom through promoting education and personal developments.
Culture is like a river; it both carved and is constrained by its banks. Horizen is determined to create a better path for the future and to do so we like to join forces with other groups that share our vision.
Recently, our co-founder and Executive Advisor, Rolf Versluis, brought a group called Students for Liberty to our attention. Students for Liberty empowers students to incite changes in social and digital freedom. We were so moved by their passion that we wanted to share their group with our community.
Building the Future
We believe that building the future, whether it is the future of privacy or otherwise, is important. Students for Liberty created their global group with a focus on changing culture through educating and empowering our youth to create a better, freer future for all.
We wanted to collaborate with this group because it has created an inclusive community that allows students to connect and engage in their community, a value that is very important to our team. Through conventions and meetups, both local and virtual, the students can learn from other students, inspirational community members, and members of local government.

Among the inspirational individuals that present at the Students for Liberty meetups, Horizen’s own Rolf, has recently started hosting virtual presentations to students in different countries in Africa.
Over 200 students from the Students for Liberty chapters in Ghana and Nigeria attended these meetings to learn about cryptocurrency, our visionary privacy platform, and the freedom that true digital privacy provides. The excitement and joy shared by the students that attended has inspired us to schedule more virtual meetups around Africa.

Horizen and Students for Liberty
Our team believes, that sharing our goals for what a better future could look like through the lens of technology is vital to helping humanity realize the future we hope to build. We are thankful that Students for Liberty has given us the opportunity to share our vision with them.
We look forward to continuing to host more meetups with Students for Liberty to share our combined vision of a better freer future, (not to mention we’ll be bringing some free swag!). So be on the lookout for us at these events in the future.
