### Today marks a major milestone in Horizen’s evolution - Horizen has completed its migration to Base, and ZEN is now officially live as an ERC-20 token on Base, unlocking liquidity, powerful DeFi integrations, and laying a foundation for a new frontier for private finance.

This milestone marks the beginning of a new era for Horizen, as we evolve from our legacy UTXO chain into a modular appchain ecosystem built for the next wave of privacy-enabled DeFi.

### Earn Yield with Single-Sided Vaults

The initial phase of Horizen’s launch on Base will also include the rollout of eight initial LP strategies. Each customized strategy supports ZEN liquidity and provides yield opportunities for a range of users.

These LP strategies are part of Horizen’s broader DeFi strategy on Base. Aerodrome strategies are optimized to capture $AERO emissions and generate yield for both LPs and veAERO supporters. Uniswap vaults are more conservative in their LP strategies. More to come..
