Zen at RISE Hong Kong

Last week I represented Zen as a Woman in Tech at RISE Hong Kong, “the new hot ticket on the tech conference scene” (Forbes)

RISE is produced by the team behind Web Summit, and this year we heard from Alibaba’s Executive Director Joseph Tsai, digital media legend Gary Vaynerchuk, the dynamic Bobby Lee of BTCC, Director of WeChat Pay Grace Yin, and many other impactful individuals.

I used this meetup of FinTech minds to connect with Asia-based marketing and PR strategists, scope out potential partners to increase usability of ZenCash, and gauge overall interest in and understanding of cryptocurrencies.

I’m continually impressed by the boldness of Asia-based startups and range of solutions they’re working to provide to the rising lower and middle classes in countries like India, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and China. I’ll be based in Hong Kong and Bangkok through December, and am looking forward to tapping into these innovative communities to spread awareness and adoption of Zen.
