TokenMint – Upcoming Maintenance and Next Steps
In preparation for moving TokenMint to mainnet, we will be performing maintenance and pausing functionality of Tokenmint and Cobalt between June 14th and July 5th. Here’s what you need to know!
Testing is coming to an end as we prepare for the mainnet launch. We appreciate everyone that helped test the latest Horizen products, especially AltTimeHigh and Gruyerman, who provided a great deal of valuable feedback that helped our team improve the product for everyone.
What Will Change?
- We will be updating software based on findings during our community testing phase.
- The SDK version will move from 0.3.3 to 0.3.4
- The TokenChain version will go from 1.0.1 to 1.2.0
- We will share the release notes after completion
- We will take a “snapshot” of the current TokenMint state
- Test the backup & restore functionality.
- Begin prepping for the Mainnet launch.
What Should I Expect?

- Transactions will be frozen on testnet.
- Wallet and Block Explorer will prevent the “send function”
- The target time for the transaction pause will be June 14th and July 5th
- Test ZEN ($TZEN) balances will be erased.
- You can claim more on the testnet faucet after the maintenance is complete.
- Or move out your TZEN to Sphere by Horizen by June 9th.
- $TCAKE will be reissued on mainnet as $CAKE to each person that completed the form correctly. Even if there was an issue with receiving the $TCAKE drop
- Transactions will be frozen on testnet.
- Your Test Zenny (TZNY) balances will remain available
- TZNY balances will remain

- Testnet will return after the maintenance window
- The team will release update notes
- TokenMint and Cobalt will be more prepared for mainnet!
