Secure Node Payment Update 1-15-18
The ZenCash Secure Node System in Beta is operating successfully thanks to the 5700+ node operators around the globe helping us test the system under an operationally representative load! We are proud to be one of few cryptocurrencies that incentivizes (pays) node operators, paying 3.5% of mining rewards to ZenCash Secure Node operators.
Secure Nodes Operating in Beta
The Secure Node System remains in Beta, meaning that we are actively refining and performing fixes. For those new to software development, at the beta test stage, the product has already passed through the first-level, internal pilot-test (alpha test) and glaring defects have been removed. At the beta test stage, user participation is required to test under normal operational load and everyday conditions to spot the remaining flaws. Thank you for helping us do this!
Where is my money ($ZEN)?
Secure Node earnings continue to accrue and will be paid in full. Payments are made through 12/18/17 (at the time of this publication). As we executed the payment process, we found additional modifications were required. We now have those changes in place and will start moving through the backlog.
Once we catch up on payments, we will conduct a thorough review to ensure all valid nodes are paid and will provide a claims process in case secure node operators disagree or have additional concerns. Secure Nodes’ past valid operations will be paid even if the secure node is not currently active.
We are quickly catching up while refining the Secure Node Payment Beta system! Thank you for being patient as we improve the payment system. For immediate status, join our Discord #securenodes_payouts channel.
In future communications and after we’ve caught up on payments, we will provide a process on how to submit a claim when our service desk system is live.
