As Horizen prepares for the upcoming migration to its new appchain on Base, we’re inviting the community to participate in a testnet dry run.
This dry run is a vital part of ensuring a successful and secure migration for everyone. It is also your chance to experience the migration process first-hand, including claiming test ZEN from both the Horizen Mainchain Testnet and EON Gobi Testnet before real assets are involved.
Get familiar with the process — Learn how to claim ZEN across both Horizen and EON chains before real assets are involved
Test your setup — Validate that your wallet (Sphere, MetaMask, CLI, Ledger) works correctly and is connected to the right networks
Catch issues early — Identify any bugs or edge cases that need fixing before mainnet migration
Stress-test infrastructure — Help ensure everything scales smoothly under real user load
Avoid last-minute surprises — Know exactly what to do and when, so you're ready when the mainnet snapshot happens
This is a risk-free rehearsal for one of Horizen’s most important transitions, and a chance to shape it with your feedback.
We encourage all users, developers, and validators to participate to help us test wallet connections, claim flows, and infrastructure stability.
