ZenCash is Live! ZEN Trading Soon on Bittrex
The ZenCash blockchain has been officially live since 2017-05-30 23:46:46 UTC last night! This has been an exciting journey, but is really just the start of a bigger movement.
We’d like to thank everyone who has helped make this happen, from the devs who haven’t slept in days, to those in the community who have been showing consistent support.
Nothing worthwhile comes without its challenges and we certainly had them right out of the gate! We had issues with the OpenSSL implementation, which caused network transmission errors and prevented blocks from syncing. Disabling TSL for the time being did the trick to stabilize the network.
The good news is this may have been the most successful chain split in history in that the replay attack preventions worked perfectly and the initial discontinuity in mining difficulty resolved itself within the first 100 blocks.
We’re 120 blocks into the new chain and things look good! Take a look for yourself on a ZenCash block explorer to watch things unfold real-time.
Linux wallets are available to compile on our ZenCash Github, with Windows and Mac binaries in-process for release shortly.
ZEN trading should begin on Bittrex after a 24-hour watch period to ensure the chain is stable.

However, Bittrex is our primary exchange partner and will have a lot more liquidity to their order book. They just haven’t commenced trading yet.

Any idea when it will be available to trade on Bittrex? Expected it at 23:59 (01:59 our time), but see that there is some delay. Looking forward to it.

I cannot find any news on Bittrex about ZEN… At least, ZEN should be already available on it. Any news about it? I have some ZCL and I thought to get the same number of ZEN so far. Nothing yet
