Zen 2.0.14 RC1 is targeted to be available and ready for testing on the testnet network on June 11th.
We are asking for node operators and other community members with some available resources to run zend (just run the binaries) or even spin up a secure node with the new version on testnet as soon as it is available. If you need some testnet zen (ZNT) for a secure node, please ask in the Discord #securnodes channel.
The testing period will run from June 11th through June 16th, at which time the testnet hard fork will take place, any interested pool operators are welcome to participate in the testnet hard fork. Based on the test results the new version of zen should be posted on or about June 19th.
Help with setting up a testnet node is available in the Discord #testnet-config channel.
This is a general community notice. Node operators, pool operators, and exchange operators will be notified separately with more details.
For pool operators:
There will be an updated version of z-nomp https://github.com/HorizenOfficial/z-nomp and node-stratum-pool https://github.com/HorizenOfficial/node-stratum-pool that must be tested for HF compatibility with the new version of zen.
It is our intention to get the z-nomp changes merged into z-classic upstream.
